Vena Jane Archa Venable, 82, of Wimberley, formerly of Eula, died Friday, September 30, 2022, at Deer Creek Nursing Center in Wimberley, where she had lived for the past five years.

Vena was born January 22, 1940, to Clifford Lynn (Red) and Sarah Jane (French) Archa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, Jess Richard Archa, Alvin Lynn Archa and Allen Wayne Archa and her daughter-in-law, Vicki Rene Venable.

Vena is survived by one brother, Clifford Dale Archa and wife Susan; three sons, James Venable of Kendalia, Jimmy Venable and wife Robin of San Marcos and Justin Venable and Donna Harden of Lindale; six grandchildren, Christopher Venable and wife Janice, Jacob Venable, Jamie Venable Clark and husband Logan, Jared Venable, Ashley Quattlebaum and husband Rusty and Justina Beam and husband Dwayne; seven great grandchildren, Tinslee Sioux Venable, Brandon Venable, Harlie Venable, Elana Clark, Ellie Venable, Kynleigh Greene and Rowdy Beam.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Eula Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
