Virginia Lee Stewart, 73, of Frankston died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery with Pastor Owen Sharp officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Virginia was born March 8, 1948 in Gatesville to Charlie and Sarah (Sharp) Patterson. She married John Ed Stewart in Abilene on March 22, 1969. She worked at Maxwell Pharmacy in Frankston for a few years and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Malone and husband Jason of Frankston; sister, Jennifer Whitley and husband John of Frankston; brother, Charlie Patterson of Frankston; eight nephews, David Stewart and wife Connie of Las Cruces, Kenny Stewart of Vancouver, Washington, Kenneth Stewart of Houston, Shawn Stewart of Abilene, Jermey Stewart of Abilene, Kyle Dezern and wife Sarah of Trenton, Jake Dezern and wife Jessica of Los Fresnos and Steven Whitley and wife Kristy of Palestine; seven nieces, Vicki McKay and husband David of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Sandy Santana and husband Dudley of Parker, Colorado, Alexandra Lanicek and husband Wayne of Rosebud, Paula Seddon of Houston, Cynthia Stewart of Houston, Stacy Rains and husband Rodney of Whitehouse and Sarah Hernandez and husband Mark of Hempstead and many great nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Geneva Patterson Morgan; father, Charlie Warren Patterson and her husband of 52 years, John Ed Stewart.
