Vivian Kay Vinson, 65, of Clyde passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cory Dryden officiating. Burial will follow in Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Vivian was born July 31, 1959, in Abilene to Francis Lesley and Virginia Vivian (Voeller) Vinson. She graduated from Clyde High School and then attended Cisco Junior College and finished up at Angelo State University, earning her bachelor's degree in business. She went to work for First Financial Bank in Abilene. She worked there for 35 years and was recently promoted to vice president over wire transfers. Vivian was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church and also served as the church clerk for over 12 years.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia V. Vinson of Clyde; her sister, Diane Attalah and husband Amine of Abilene; nephew, Allen Wilkins and wife, Sarah of Abilene and her brother-in-law, Cedrick McRae of Abilene.
Vivian was preceded in death by her father, Francis and her sister, Nanette McRae.
