Phillip "Wayne" Elkins, 57, of Eula died Sunday, December 20, 2020 in a motorcycle accident. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the Eula Cemetery with Greg Clemmer officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. A visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wayne was born January 30, 1963 in Texarkana to Phil Elkins and Betty. He attended Cooper High School. He married Tina McCowen in Abilene on May 3, 1985. Wayne was a truck driver and owned his own truck and leased on with Bilbo for over 25 years. He loved to attend "Party on the Patio" on his motorcycle, he volunteered for Toys for Tots and drove a tractor for the Barrel Racing Association for 10 years. Additionally, loved attending softball games, barrel races and flat track races. He had a big heart and helped anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tina Elkins of Eula; his father Phil Elkins and wife Vicki of Panama City Beach, Florida; two daughters, Brandi Moeller and husband Zach and Nikki Elkins, all of Eula; three brothers, David Elkins of Abilene, Roger Elkins of Massachusetts and Damon Elkins and wife Kim of Conway, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brynlee and Brystal Moeller; father-in-law, Bobby Jack McCowen of Cross Plains and numerous extended family and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Williams and mother-in-law Vivian Bush.
