Robert Wayne Hunt, 82, of Abilene died Monday, December 14, 2020 in an Abilene hospice facility. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Wayne was born August 31, 1938 in Clyde to Juanita Palestine Ramsey. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army, stationed most of his time in Germany. Wayne loved fishing and playing baseball. He even played semi-pro baseball in the 50's. He worked for Little Manufacturing in Abilene, retiring after working for over 25 years.

He is survived by his son Bryan Wayne Hunt and wife Tracie Ann of Graham; five grandchildren, Brandon Hunt and wife Chrystal of Lawn, Morgan Hunt of Tuscola, Wyatt Rae of Bryson, Ethan Rae of Graham and Megan Rae of Graham.

Wayne was preceded in death by mother, Juanita, brother, Ralph Ramsey, aunts, Esther Sundy and Lucy Ramsey and uncle, Carl Ramsey.
