William (Will) Mark Stallings, Jr., 49, of Clyde passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, in an Abilene hospital surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025, at The Table (formerly Callahan Hall) 205 S. 1st St., Clyde, with Josh and Kris Akens officiating. Burial will follow in Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home.

Will was born October 8, 1975, in Abilene to William Mark Sr. and Jerilan (Thomasson) Stallings. He graduated from Clyde High School, where he excelled in academics and athletics.  He played many sports. He was very competitive, had a quick temper but would help anyone that needed it and had a big heart. He also was an umpire for many games around the area. He worked for Cummins Utility Supply in inventory control in Fort Worth for five years, this is where he and Melissa met in 1999. They were married in Las Vegas on December 10, 2018. He later worked for the family business, Stallings Electric, as operations manager.

Will enjoyed working cattle, giving rides to school and he had a dry, dark sense of humor. Those who loved him knew he could be absolutely unlovable some days and he just wanted to hug you other days. Some would receive multiple calls a day from him, (oh it's Will again!) What's for dinner? Can you fry me some eggs? Do I need to pick up food? How's dad? What are y'all doing? etc. It's not going to be the same without him.

He is survived by his father, William Mark (Mark) Stallings, Sr. and wife Rebecca (Becky) of Clyde; his mother, Jerilan Lozano and husband Henry of Clyde; his wife, Melissa Stallings of Clyde; four brothers, Kwert Stallings of Clyde, Levi Stallings and wife Audrey of Abilene, Lance Cockerell and wife Victoria of Clyde and Kevin Lozano and wife Sabrina of Abilene; five sisters, Lessly Stallings of Clyde, Ashley Stallings Hayney and husband Shane of Big Spring, Laci Stallings of Clyde, Lyndee Corley of Clyde and Kellie Lozano of Abilene; his uncle, Dare Stallings of Clyde and numerous other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many Stallings and Akens cousins and his fur babies, Cameron, Dexter, Shane, Nixon and Tom Brady.

Will was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gail and Chloe Stallings and Less and Roxie Thomasson.
