William (Bill) Karl Cedergren, 54, of Clyde died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in an Abilene hospital. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Oplin Cemetery with Bro. Larry Hooper officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Bill was born August 18, 1963 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Roger and Dorothy (Seymour) Cedergren. He graduated from Masuk High School in Monroe, Connecticut. He moved to the Clyde area in 1981 and married Diane Johnson in Baird on August 5, 1990. He owned and operated Cedergren Concrete Design and Construction for many years.  He was a Boy Scout Leader in Clyde for over 16 years. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Diane Cedergren of Clyde; parents, Roger and Dorothy Cedergren of Monroe, Connecticut; son Cody Cedergren of Abilene; brother Robert Cedergren and wife Lisa of Newtown, Connecticut; three sisters, Barbara Cedergren of Monroe, Connecticut, Cynthia Nigro and husband John of Trumbull, Connecticut and Marybeth McGuire and husband Tom of Monroe, Connecticut and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Heather Cedergren.
