Willie Norman Carrigan, 73, of Eula, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018.  A private graveside at the Carrigan Family Cemetery will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Louis Brewer officiating.

Willie was born March 11, 1945, in Hamlin, to Bill and Velma Carrigan.  He married Patsy Adams on February 1, 1964, in old Mexico.  Willie started putting up metal buildings in 1964 and later owned his own company, Carrigan & Sons Construction, along with two of his sons.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church for 18 years until he moved to Eula in 1983.  There he joined Denton Valley Baptist Church and later became a deacon there.

Willie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pat Carrigan of Eula; three sons, Willie T and wife Kathy, Mike and wife Tina and Sean and wife Becky; one daughter, Patsy Lewis and husband Joel; ten grandchildren, Scotty, Cody, Mike, Nolan, Tanner, Kim, Ashley, Leslie, Hannah and Talyn; and 15 great-grandkids, all of Eula.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Sue Hayhurst; and his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hendrick Hospice of Abilene.
