Zane Sol Beaird, 84, of Eula went to meet the Lord and Savior Saturday, December 26, 2020 surrounded by family. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Zane was born April 21, 1936 to James Wesley and Vida Mary (Ingram) Beaird in Soper, Oklahoma. Zane joined the Navy in 1954 and served for 24 years. Throughout the years he was stationed in the Philippines and San Diego, California. He retired from the Navy in 1984. He then worked in civil service. He married Sandy in Baird on April 30, 2019.

He is survived by his wife Sandy of Eula; brother Robert Wayne Beaird of Breckenridge; three sisters, Sheila Fournier, Wanda Abraham and Stella Sanders, all of Breckenridge and numerous nieces and nephews.

Zane was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
